Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm

Hi friends!

Most of my Instagram followers probably have seen it. However, I want to write a bit longer about my obsession with Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm. I own several shades of those, cause yes, as I said before, I am a bit obsessed. This balm goes on so smooth and soft with a matte appearance but not dry at all. Therefore, it hydrates your lips.  Your lips maintain their moisture despite this being a matte lipstick. That is one of pros of this product. Colors are very pigmented for the "balm." You can build coverage as desired by applying one or more layers. But my favorite part is that this product has a hint of a minty feel taste. As all balms, those are not an exception and they are not a long lasting. They last as long as you don't eat or drink. But I love to use them for my everyday makeup looks, cause they are matte, smooth, and soft at the same time.

When using Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm or not, do not forget to put a smile on your face, cause no amount of makeup can fix a sad face.

A Simple Every Day Make Up Look

Hi Beautiful!

Today I want to share with you the products and techniques I use to get an everyday simple makeup look. Nothing too dramatic, just simplicity  and softness.
Here is the pictorial of the look. Fewer words, more pictures.
First things first, before applying any makeup product, make sure that your face and hands are clean.

- Always apply a moisturizing cream before priming.
- Apply primer to minimize the appearance of pores and smoothing the skin .

Benefit Cosmetics: The POREfessional

 - After applying primer, now is the time to apply your foundation.

During summer I prefer to use a light foundation with a little bit of shimmer to have that healthy summer glow. Here I mix two foundations to get the glowing effect. Apply the foundation with the TraditionalFoundation Brush.

Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator & Maybelline Drem Liquid Mousse Foundation

Apply a concelear, and blend it with a Stippling Brush or a damp sponge.

M.A.C Cosmetics: Mineralized Concealer

- I prefer to use the foundation that is much darker than my skin color to get a contoured look. I apply it where I want to contour my face and blend it with a stippling brush as well.

Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Foundation Stick (#335)
- After I use large Kabuki Brush to avoid any harsh lines for airbrushed appearance.

- I don't usually powder my whole face, however I use dark powder to go over the contoured parts to define my cheekbones even more.

M.A.C Cosmetics: Studio Fix Powder NW50

- Apply a blush. I preffer applying it above my bronzer, but you can use it on apples of your cheeks as well.

M.A.C Cosmetics: Blush "Gingerly"

- After I am done with my foundation and contouring, I start with my eyes by applying the eye shadow primer.

M.A.C Cosmetics: Painterly Eye Shadow Primer
Apply the darker eye shadow in your crease with an Eye Shading Brush.

Blend the crease line with the clean Blending Brush

-Apply lighter color on the center and inner corner of your lid to make them appear more awake.

- Blend the eyeshadows together to get rid of the harsh lines and soften the look.

 - Apply mascara the way you prefer to finish with the eyes.

L'Oreal Voluminous Power 24 H

And here is the finished look: Soft eyes with a clean polished face. And don't forget to smile because no amount of makeup can fix a sad face.
